Academic Integrity

Learning honestly — because the assessment is for you, not for us.

Why this matters here

Assessments in this academy exist to show you where your understanding is solid and where it is not yet. An answer that isn't yours removes the only benefit the assessment offers. This policy is written as an expectation of how to learn well, not as a disciplinary code.

What the academy asks of you

Please:

  • Participate honestly in knowledge checks and assessments, including reporting your confidence truthfully — uncertainty is never penalised here.
  • Write your responses, reflections and teach-backs in your own words and from your own understanding.
  • Use the AI Learning Guide to build understanding — asking it to explain, question, or check your reasoning — rather than to produce an answer you then submit as your own.
  • Keep assessment questions and answers out of shared documents, group chats and public posts.
  • Represent your progress and completion accurately.
  • Describe any academy credential for exactly what it is, as set out in Certificate & Credential Meaning.

If something goes wrong

Where a concern arises, the academy's first response is a conversation aimed at restoring genuine learning. Repeated or deliberate misrepresentation — particularly of a credential — may lead to review of a student's standing.

Until a published contact address is configured, students may raise questions, accessibility difficulties, privacy requests and complaints through the channel they used to enrol.
